Ryan Carlson

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Health & Wellness from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. After graduating, I operated fitness centers in South Carolina and Indiana. It was in 2009 when I started his career in skilled nursing as an administrator in training in Marion, Indiana – a city situated about 70 miles to the northeast of Indianapolis.

My first Executive Director role was in Merrillville, Indiana, where I successfully removed my community from the state’s special focus list. After that successful turnaround effort, I then took on a series of three new-build projects and oversaw them from the final stages of construction through their initial state surveys. I was fortunate to play an integral role in building the community’s operational, financial, and clinical policies, as well as procedures.

I then served as the Regional Vice President of Operations and then in various Vice President roles throughout the Midwest. And since relocating to Florida in 2018, I have served as Senior Living Director and Vice President of Human Resources for KR Management and Avante Group, respectively.

I have been married to Sasha since 2014 and have two children, Emery and Ezra.
